Devs Core is an AI agent company based in the United States and Bangladesh. We build agents, integrations and automation that act inside the ERP, the CRM and the ledger a business already runs — under scoped permissions, with a write queue a named person approves and every call logged.

We can do that because we built and maintained those systems first. Member platforms, factory ledgers, storefronts, firmware — years of keeping other people’s software up, before we put a model anywhere near it.

Why we exist

Mission and vision

Two sentences we are prepared to be held to. Neither of them mentions being a trusted partner on your digital transformation journey, because that is not a commitment anybody can fail.

Mission

Make AI safe enough to point at the systems a business runs on.

Most AI work stops at the demo because nobody will let it write to the ERP, the CRM or the ledger. We build the layer that makes that decision defensible — scoped permissions, a write queue a named person approves, every call logged — and then we build the agent on top of it. The measure of the work is not whether it impressed anyone in a meeting. It is whether it is still running, unattended, a year later.

Vision

An AI studio out of Dhaka and Florida that mid-sized companies trust with their systems of record.

Not the biggest agency, and not a body shop. A studio with a small number of clients per sector, its own products in production to learn from, and a published standard for how an agent is allowed to act. We want the governed-agent argument to be the normal way this is done — and we would rather be early and provably right than large and vague.

Who runs it

Founder & CEO

Ashraf is a full-stack engineer who still reads the pull requests. He founded Devs Core in Dhaka and now runs it as a US company, and he works across the same stack the team does — React and TypeScript, Django and Python, Flutter, Kotlin — which is why scoping conversations here tend to get technical quickly.

His academic background is in artificial intelligence, and he has spent five years building production software — the kind with real users, real uptime and real consequences when it breaks. An AI enthusiast by temperament, he is building Devs Core into an AI studio and enjoys pointing it at industries that have never had anything like this built for them.

He led the builds most of this site points at: the member platform that took an institution off its office inbox, the factory accounting system that replaced a load-bearing spreadsheet, and both of the AI products we run ourselves. The argument this company makes — that an agent should be scoped, reviewed and handed over — came out of paying for the alternative.

How we work

Six things we will not trade away

Most of these cost us money in the short run. They are here because the alternative costs a client more, and because we would rather lose a deal than defend a position we do not hold.

You own everything at the end
Source in your repository, infrastructure in your accounts, model keys in your name. There is no runtime of ours in the path, so if you never speak to us again the system keeps running.
The write path is reviewed until it earns otherwise
Anything that changes a record in a system of record goes through a queue a person can see. You watch the agreement rate and you decide when a category graduates to unattended.
We will tell you not to build it
Some processes should be redesigned rather than automated, and some systems cannot be integrated at any price. We would rather write that down in week two than discover it with you in month five.
We publish the price
Three fixed-scope packages with the figures on the page. It filters out conversations that were never going to close and makes the scope call about what gets built rather than what it might cost.
We say what we have not done
No certifications we do not hold, no client logos we did not work for, no case study for a sector we have never shipped into. Our own products are badged as ours everywhere they appear.
We run what we sell
Cadenza and Budge are ours, in production. Agent cost per run, failure modes and the value of a human checkpoint are things we learned by operating them, not by reading about them.

How we got here

Foundations first, agents second

Plenty of AI agencies started in 2024. The difference that matters is what you were doing before that, because it decides whether you have ever had to keep something running.

2022
Founded in Dhaka — mobile and web
Flutter apps and websites out of Dhaka — Digital Pharmacy, NUTMEG, the first storefronts. Unglamorous, and the reason we can still write firmware and a checkout flow.
2023
Systems that had to stay up
The work got heavier: a member platform for 10,000+ records, factory accounting, restaurant operations down to the device firmware. Maintenance taught us more about software than building it did.
Oct 2023
Into the platform programmes
GitHub Technology Partner, then Google, Microsoft and AWS for Startups. Useful for credits and platform access — and useful because each one made our engineering practice legible to somebody outside it.
2024–2025
We started building our own AI products
Budge, then Cadenza. Running them is where the access layer came from — scoped permissions, a reviewed write queue, per-run cost logging — because we were paying that bill ourselves.
Now
Governed AI agents, and the foundations under them
Two bases — Devs Core LLC in Florida and the engineering office in Dhaka — and clients across five countries. We build agents that plug into the software a business already runs, and we still build the software underneath when that is what is missing.
